Jeremiah Ayella

Upper-Year Advisor

Jeremiah Ayella is a 5th-year student at the Toronto Metropolitan University pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce specializing in Real Estate Management with a minor in Finance at the Ted Rogers School of Management. He completed an 8-month stint in real estate public equity at RioCan REIT on their asset management team focusing on the strategic management of the REIT’s various retail assets. Following that, he spent 4 months in real estate private equity at KingSett Capital on their equity investments team focused on the acquisition and disposition of investment opportunities across its equity fund strategies in all major Canadian markets. He is also a Co-Founder and Managing lead at the Ontario Real Estate Clubs Association (ORECA) an organization that has combined the strengths of real estate clubs at 7 prominent Canadian institutions with the goal of bringing together the brightest minds in real estate and connecting them with commercial real estate organizations and providing worthwhile experiences.

His passion for real estate comes from the relationship-driven nature of the industry, the overall community impact involved with the industry, and how intellectually stimulating the industry is in terms of finding solutions to different complex problems such as structuring large-scale portfolio acquisitions or dispositions.

Prior to his current role as Upper Year Advisor at TRREA, he served as President for the 2022/2023 school and Corporate Relations Associate for the 2021/2022 school year. He hopes to inspire the next generation of real estate leaders and extend his passion for the industry to further inspire others to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
